A Look at Cemetery Monuments

Cemetery monuments are another way of memorializing loved ones who have died. They are either part of or separate from a headstone and usually are projected higher above the ground as well.
Monuments are made from a variety of materials including granite, marble, sandstone, bronze or slate. They also come in many styles such as pedestals, columns, statues or crosses. Their presence is quite powerful.
This gallery gives you a glimpse of monuments located in cemeteries across the world. Some represent large groups of individuals while others were erected in memory of just one loved one.
